As Christians, we have been called to be stewards over the treasures that God has bestowed upon us. But what does it mean to be a steward? According to scripture, the role and responsibility of a steward is to take good care of everything that has been placed in our possession. This includes our church. As members of Greater Grace Church, we are responsible for her upkeep. One way we contribute to this upkeep is through the giving of tithes and offerings. Tithing is an act of faith that ensures that our finances are blessed. And we all want to be blessed, right? That's why we offer several ways to give.
Our online giving is processed via Givelify, a trusted mobile giving app. Whether you forgot your checkbook, don't have cash, are on vacation, or just prefer electronic payment, our online giving solution makes giving easy, fast, and convenient. Schedule a reoccuring donation or simply use it to pay your tithes, offerings, Grace Giving, and more whenever you need. You can access our Givelify page via the web interface or by downloading the mobile app from the App Store or Google Play Store and searching for Greater Grace Church.
Don't have access to the website or a mobile app store? No worries—we also have a text option. To get started, text your donation amount to 219.200.5020 and set up your account. Once your account has been created, simply text your donation whenever you'd like to give. You'll instantly receive a confirmation of your donation—making record keeping easy.
We also accept the traditional forms of payment—cash and checks. Please make checks payable to Greater Grace Church. To submit your check (or cash) simply fill out a giving envelope and place it in the collection basket during our Tithes and Offering period. We are all familiar with the passage of scripture that says, "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it" (Malachi 3:10 KJV). But we often neglect the two verses that proceed it: "Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation" (Malachi 3:8–9). Don't invite a curse into your life. Give God what's His today.
